Clay Cross staff hit the Ashover Show
On the 8 August 2007 the Clay Cross Team; Nichola Morrison, Retail Manager and Daniel Brooks, Customer Interviewer joined the Community Development Team and helped raise awareness of the branch and support Ashover Show.
The weather on the day was splendid with the sun out all day; after having a terrible spell of wet weather the days before the event, it was a roaring success as many people turned out. The Derbyshire Building Society events vehicle helped with promoting the fantastic products the Derbyshire can offer our customers and there was lots of interest in the incentive to win a 48” TV!
A face painter on the day, raised £48 which was donated to the St Johns Ambulance Clay Cross division, to help towards a new defibrillator. The team where kept busy all day handing out freebies and talking to new and existing customers regarding the Derbyshire products and services we can offer and joining in the fun.
